Title transfer rules

The kinds, statuses and checks of a title transfer, what each kind needs and posts, and which stock operations only a title transfer may make. Title transfers are in Inventory ‣ Rx Tracking ‣ Title Transfers (in the 3PL ‣ Operations section); the steps are in Buy an owner's units in place and Sell units back to an owner, or between two owners.
Kinds and triggers

Trigger is Block for every transfer made by hand or from a title purchase order, and Just in time for a transfer that your own delivery made when it took a just-in-time owner's units (Set up an owner for just-in-time buying). The Trigger column of the list is hidden by default.

The list's search finds a transfer by Serial and filters Open, Done, Owner to us, Reversions and Owner to owner.
What Check and Validate check
Check runs these rules and lists every failure at once under "The title transfer can't be validated:". Validate runs them again, lists failures under "TT/YYYY/NNNNN can't be validated:", writes the result of the partner and facility checks in the Gate Log (also when it refuses), and only then changes the owner.

Why title pickings, the title location and unit owners can't be changed by hand
A title transfer changes owners with two stock moves through the company's title location, and records the change in the package ledger and the in-place documents in the same step. Any other way of moving units there, or of changing their owner, would skip those records, so the software refuses it for DSCSA products.

Virtual Locations/DSCSA Title Transfer(shown as Title location in the 3PL settings). Units pass through it only during a validation; it is always empty afterwards. - The Title Transfer operation type. Each warehouse has an operation type Title Transfer, listed in Inventory ‣ Configuration ‣
Operations Types; its transfers are numbered
CODE/TT/NNNNN(for exampleWH/TT/00001). - The two title pickings. Validate creates and validates a Title-Out Transfer (stock to the title location, held for the seller) and a Title-In Transfer (the title location back to the same bin, held for the buyer). Their Moves smart button opens their Detailed Operations (product, lot, locations, Held for Owner and quantity); their form shows the transfer's number in Source Document and Title Transfer, and the seller or buyer in Held for Owner. Open them from the transfer's Transfers smart button or Operations tab.
What is refused, for DSCSA products:

The messages name the menu "Rx Tracking > 3PL > Title Transfers": it is Inventory ‣ Rx Tracking ‣ Title Transfers (in the 3PL ‣ Operations section). Products that are not DSCSA products move into and out of the title location as in standard Odoo. Title transfers themselves are never deleted (no role may delete them); cancel them instead.
Known issue (PF-A08-07): the Title Transfer operation type has a card on Inventory ‣ Overview, and a new transfer can be
started from it (numbered WH/TT/NNNNN, from WH/Stock to WH/Stock). Such a transfer is not a title transfer: it never changes an
owner, and it can't move DSCSA units into the title location. Don't use it.

On a purchase order, Title Transfer in Place makes it a title purchase order (editable while it is a request for quotation), and the Title Transfers smart button (Rx Tracking users) opens its transfers.
